A new feature in Zoho Reports allows you to add User Filters on the fly, based on any field in your reports database. Here are the steps to add a Date filter in your Zoho Reports database.

The procedure to add a date column in user filters is as follows:

- Create a new chart (or Open the existing chart and edit the same).

- Click on the tab User Filters in the edit mode.

- Drag and drop the date column in User Filters tab.

- Edit the component and select the type of date model you need.

- You can use Date Range to allow user to filter data by entering the From and To dates.

- You can choose Actual Period to allow user to filter data by actual dates like 2000 , 2001 etc.,

- You can choose Relative Period to allow user to filter data relatively like Last 2 Months, Last 3 Weeks etc.,

- You can choose Seasonal Period to filter data seasonally like Jan,Dec etc.,

- Click on next and select the values you want to list in the user filter and click Finish.

- Switch to view mode and select the values from the list for which you need to filter the data.
