| What is ‘on demand’ software? |
Top |
| On demand, means ‘as needed’. It is also known as ‘Software as a Service’, or SaaS. As your business grows and as you need to add more and more users you basically ‘rent’ the software as a service. It is the cure to many of the headaches associated with the traditional software model where you have to purchase, install and host the solution yourself. With no software or hardware to buy, install, maintain, or upgrade, there is greatly reduced startup expense as well as reduced need for a dedicated IT team and thus the popularity of on-demand has grown tremendously with businesses and IT organizations. |

| How does on demand CRM software work? |

| Much as the same way you log on to your favourite websites like Yahoo, Hotmail, GMail etc, you simply logon securely and connect to the on demand CRM and manage your Sales, Marketing and Customer Service/Support information. Leaders in this concept are CRM vendors like Salesforce.com, SageCRM.com, Sugar CRM and they utilize world-class infrastructure and security to deliver the CRM functions through the Internet allowing you to manage and share your data easily amongst your teams. |

| Is the concept of Software as a Service safe? |

| Due to the on-demand model's tremendous economies of scale and focus on service delivery, many CRM providers provide higher service levels than the vast majority of companies can achieve on their own. They use the best technologies, policies, and procedures to ensure security at the facilities, application, and network level; to ensure maximum uptime and continuous availability. Salesforce.com for example has over 32,000 customers including some of the largest corporations in the world. |

| What is the cost of the CRM software? |

| By using on demand CRM software, there is no start up cost as you do not need to buy hardware or software. You simply pay the usage fee, customize the application to suit your business and start using it. This can equates to savings of up to 90% compared to traditional software and in-house hosted solutions. The Small Business Starter Package offered by CRM Asia solutions uses the CRM vendors personal or starter edition licenses and is designed to allow small businesses (1-3 users) to get started quickly and cheaply, reducing the need to purchase larger volume licenses and thus keeping implementation costs to a minimum. If you require more users we will recommend the Small Business Professional package and the relevant on demand CRM application and license to suit your budget. In this case you will need to upgrade and pay for additional user licenses. |

| Do you need to be in the same country as my business or on-site to implement a CRM? |
Top |
| It helps but is by no means essential. If the scale of your initial CRM implementation is relatively small, everything can be done through the web. Requirements gathering can be done via questionnaire / email and phone/skype calls/chat. We will ask that you assign one main contact to ‘own’ the implementation at your end to liaise with our CRM consultant (usually a Sales / Marketing Manager or someone with experience in this area). As the CRM is a web based tool, customization can be done remotely. Once customization is complete, users will be issued with their login credentials and can start using the CRM. User Manuals will be sent to assist users. Training is possible via skype/webinars, however for more effective training we recommend on-site training. |
|
| Will you train my staff how to use and administer the CRM? |
Top |
| Yes. All CRM implementation projects undertaken by CRM Asia Solutions will include a training phase. During this phase we will train your users (Sales, marketing, Customer Support) to use the CRM functions, and your chosen Administrator to customize the functions. We recommend training be done outside of work hours for best, more focused results with fewer distractions; schedules will be planned to match your availability. Training materials will be provided. If you do not have time to administer the CRM, CRM Asia Solutions can help you by creating a custom CRM Support package to suit your budget and requirements. |
